PANJIM: The Goa Football Association on Friday stated that players registered with the association cannot play in unrecognised tournaments/events, failing which they will attract disciplinary action including suspension, fine or both.
“The GFA stated that evidence has been submitted wherein registered players for futsal have been participating in unrecognized futsal tournaments currently in progress in the State. They shall be suspended,” stated the State football governing body.

The players with professional contracts with football clubs need to furnish the NOC from the clubs to play in recognised futsal championships.
