PANJIM: Don Bosco HS, Panjim registered their third victory by thrashing Delhi Public School (DPS), Vasant Kunj, New Delhi 3-0 in the inter-city leg of 3rd Mahindra Youth Football Challenge, at Bangalore Football Stadium, Saturday.
DPS has been experiencing a tough run in the matches played thus far and went down goal less to the Goan school. Ryan D’Costa scored two impressive goals while Ronaldo C Dias netted one in the 50th minute to lead their team to victory. Talented Elmer Sequeira was named star performer of the match.
On Friday, Don Bosco Panjim registered their second victory defeating their counterparts from Don Bosco HS, Matunga 2-1.
The real action began in the second half of the match when Bryce Miranda scored the first goal for Matunga. This was followed by Elmer Sequeira and Glevito S Miranda’s goals for Goa in the 36th and 46th minutes of the match, giving them the edge they needed to win. Glevito Miranda was adjudged star performer of the match.
