MARGAO: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda blanked Sporting Club Davorlim 2-0 in the semi-final to book the final berth in the Youth of Manora football tournament organized by Manora Youth Club, at Manora ground, on Saturday.
Don Bosco Oratory scored both the goals in the first half.
They dominated the proceedings from the word go and took the lead in the 12th minute through Minguel Barretto with an assist by Joel Camara.
Don Bosco Oratory in the 20th minute missed an opportunity to double the lead as Joel Camara’s header was fisted away by Sporting Club Davorlim goalkeeper for a corner kick off a connect by Alfred Noronha.
In the 29th minute, Alfred was on target after receiving a through ball from Minguel.
Post resumption, Davorlim tried to come to level terms but the strikers lacked accuracy and the rival defence also played a curial role in protecting their citadel.
