MARGAO: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda thumped Ambelim Sports Club 3-1 to move into the final of the 34th Gold Silver Rolling Trophy Football tournament, organized by Navelim Sporting Club, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Friday.
In the first half, Don Bosco Oratory were leading 2-0.
Don Bosco Oratory dominated and scored in the 26th minute through Francis Andrade’s powerful grounder off an assist by Charlton Andrade and minutes later, Minguel Barretto doubled the advantage.
Crossing over, Ambelim SC pulled a goal back through Raymond Colaco’s deft placement off an assist by Tiburceio Fernandes in the 57th minute but Don Bosco Oratory sealed victory in the 58th minute with a strike from Danny Dias.
