PANJIM: Government High School, Guirim were crowned champions in the, the U-14 boys and girls category at the Bardez Taluka Yoga completion organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Peddem Sports Complex, recently.
The contest was equally fought by the 12 teams (boys) and 10 teams (girls).
In girls section, GHS Guirim bagged the first position followed by Govt Primary Middle School Mapusa in the second place while Janata HS Mapusa came third.
In the boys section, GHS Guirim stood first followed by Government Primary High School Mapusa in the second place while Janata HS Mapusa stood third.
Guirim team qualified for District level competition.
