DRAMAPUR: Dramapur SC shot-out Uguem Rising club 4-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the final of the 41st St Joseph Festival football Soccer, at Dramapur ground, on Sunday.
Uguem’s Isarael Gomes took control of the ball from Shailesh Velip and dribbled past Dramapur’s Nigel Fernandes and Cavin Vaz and shot from close range but keeper Melroy Fernandes was equal to the task.
In the tenth minute, Dramapur through Aston Fernandes should have netted but the latter shot wide in the 20th minute.
In the resultant tie-breaker Dramapur SC netted through Franky Oliveira, Steflon D’Costa, Aston Fernandes and Merilo Ferrao while Ashley D’Costa, Isarel Gomes and Aliston D’Souza scored for Uguem Rising Club.
Dramapur SC will now meet St Anthony SC, Assolda in the final on October 14.
