PANJIM: Dulape edged past Pimplevaddo 3-2 to enter the quarter-finals of the Fr Bruno Diniz memorial Nagoa-Verna inter-ward football tournament, at Nagoa church ground, on Saturday.
Mack Faria gave Pimplevaddo the early lead in the 15th minute. However, Dulape came back in the match through Richard Dias’ header within three minutes of the second half.
Dasmon made it 2-1 for Dulape in the 43rd minute but Pimplevaddo restored parity in the 53rd minute through Mack.
In the final minute, Dulape sealed victory with quick goals in the 58th and 60th minutes through Velton Abranches and Peter Abranches respectively.
