NAGOA-VERNA: FC Goa blanked Churchill Brothers 3-0 in the sub-junior Hero India youth league organised by AIFF, at Nagoa panchayat ground, Verna, on Saturday.
The first best chance fell to Churchill striker Saish Gaunkar but the latter’s shot hit the FC Goa post and went out of play
FC Goa’s Reezvon Sebastiao Fernandes took an arrow bound shot to open the account in the 31st minute.
Later in the second half, FC Goa midifielder Ivo Costa took a header to make it 2-0 in the 45th minute.
As the match progressed in the 47th minute, FC Goa defender Velrose Velli Dias took a power-packed shot to make it 3-0.
