FC Goa snap Jofre

KOLKATA: The second edition of the Indian Super League (ISL) may be about four months away, yet the franchises are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring they head into the period with the best squads possible.

FC Goa continue to make strides in the transfer market. Sunday brought about the confirmation that the Goan franchise had snatched away Jofre Mateu from the gaze of Atletico de Kolkata. The Goan franchise have also roped in goalkeeper Eliton Andrade to replace Jan Seda.
The 35-year-old Jofre plied his trade under the watchful gaze of coach Antonio Lopez Habas and quickly became a lynchpin in the middle of the park for the Kolkata team in their title winning team.
