PANJIM: FC Siolim eased past Peddem Bomm SC 3-1 in the GFA Third Division League match, at Chapora ground, on Saturday.
Sudin Shirodkar, Sadanand Dabolkar and Nashan Nornoha were on target for the winning side. Altan D’Souza scored the consolation for the losing side.
At Assonora Sports Complex, FC Sanquelim beat FC Tuem 4-0. Nehal Gaonkar scored a brace while Pravin Kanekar and Omkar Naik scored a goal each.
At Anjuna ground, Saish scored a fine hat-trick to help Holiday SC beat Nerul SC. Guaresh Mandrekar was the other scorer for the winners.
GFA U-14 League
Salgaocar Football Club registered a 4-0 win over Youth Welfare Sports Club of Assolna in the Goa Football Association U-14 League match, at Artificial Turf ground, Fatorda, on Saturday.
After a slow start to the game, Salgoacar broke the deadlock in the 23rd minute through Beckham Dias. Once up by a goal, Salgaocar FC dictated terms and double the tally just before the break through Nevel Menezes. Crossing over, Salgoacar continued from where they had left from and scored their third through Joswel Cardozo. Jerdom Borges netted the fourth for the winners.
In another match at Nagoa ground, Ave Maria beat Pax of Nagoa 3-1. Ferino D’Costa scored a splendid hat-trick for the winners while Yash Naik pulled a goal back for losing side.
At Rosary ground, Navelim, Navelim Villagers Union eased past Pinto YC 3-1. Ameen scored a fine hat-trick for the winning side, while Jeldon netted for Pinto.
At Poriat ground, Goa United beat Anjuna Gymkhana 5-2.
