PANJIM: Special Olympics Bharat in consultation with the National Association for the Blind (NAB), Goa State Brach conducted Festive Camp for the visually impaired, at St Cruz ground, on Tuesday.
Various athletic events like 25meters and 50meters games were organised for the participants in the T/F 11, 12 and 13 category.
“The 38 blind athletes enjoyed themselves thoroughly and it was the first experience for many of them. For the National Association for the Blind, Goa, this is the beginning and we would like to have many more such activities in the State,” said NAB, Goa State Branch in the statement.
“NAB, Goa, would like to specially thank the Special Olympic Bharat team for organising the event in such a professional manner” further stated the release.
