CURCHOREM: Guardian Angel High School, Curchorem organised one day football festival by keeping the high spirit of FIFA World Cup 2018 in the school quadrangle, on Saturday.
The students beat the staff 4-3 via the tie-breaker 4-3 in the boys match while the staff defeated students 2-0 in the girls match.
The chief guest for the occasion was retired teacher Margaret Mascarenhas.
Headmaster Fr. Jerry said, “the festival was organised seeing the festive mood and anxiety of the staff and students of the world cup finals and also to create keen interest to the students towards the physical activities so that they can spent more time in physical activities rather than spending time playing games on computers, video games and watching TV.”
