Foundation stone laid for local club at Betul

CURCHOREM: Betul Sarpanch Tato Kerkar laid a foundation stone for the construction of local club house at Gawaliwada, Betul recently on the 150 square meters land donated by Raghu Kavlekar, father of Deputy Chief Minister Chandrakant (Babu) Kavlekar.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavlekar said that the house would be constructed from panchayat’s golden jubilee fund of Rs. 11.60 lakhs. 
“Required gymnasium equipment would be installed by spending around Rs.25 lakhs for the benefits of the the local youth so that they use it to do various exercises to take care of their health.” said Kavlekar and informed that another three gymnasiums would be set up at Morpirla, Khola and Barcem panchayat areas by spending around Rs.1 crore.  
Deputy Sarpanch Akanksha Naik, panch members Delfi Barboso, Ritina Simoes, Climate Fernandes, Seby Fernandes, Gurudas Velip , ex Sarpanch Mangaldas Naik and Sudhakar Joshi were also present.
