Director General of Police TN Mohan and Dr AB Bandodkar felicitated the youngsters in presence of MLA of Calangute Constituency, Michael Lobo and Deputy Sarpanch of Calangute Panchayat, Joseph Sequeira.
Also present were Founder President of Calangute Foundation, Premanand Diukar; General Secretary, Padma Kumar Nair; Project Director, Sachin Kurtika and other dignitaries.
The Gomes Brothers Rishi and Amon have excelled in motor sports while Katya and Dayne in water sports.
All were awarded trophies besides shawls and flowers.
The Gomes brothers expressed their happiness over the felicitation at the hands of DGP of Goa and thanked Calangute Foundation for the honours while Dayne Coelho also thanked the organizers for recognizing their contribution in water sports.
