CURCHOREM: The annual sports meet and prize distribution function of Fr. Agnelo Primary School, Curchorem was held recently in the premises of Guardian Angel Church, Curchorem.
Chief guest Sr. Adeline Pereira, headmistress of Perpetual Succour Convent Primary School, Curchorem, declared the meet open and later gave away the prizes in the presence of Fr. Santan D’Souza, Martin Fernandes and ex-teacher Qurobina Barretto.
Besides drill and races, various other events like collecting balloons, collecting straws, thirsty bottles, wearing shoes and socks were held.
Earlier, Manager of the school Fr. Mario Dias welcomed the gathering and Teacher Carmelina Noronha proposed a vote of thanks. Teacher Meena Fernandes compered.
