MARGAO: Youth of Fulsabhat, Navelim downed Carmona Sports Club 2-0 to storm into the semi-finals of all-Goa Sucaldem Cup football tournament, organized by Sucaldem Youth Club, at Sucaldem ground, Chinchinim, Wednesday.
There was no score at lemon break.
Both the teams started the game on cautious note and once they struck the rhythm they fired well sorties against the rival citadel.
Post resumption, Fulsabhat showed urgency and troubled the rival defence with well orchestrated raids.
Nelvy broke the deadlock when he bulge the net. Stung by that setback, Carmona Sports Club tried their best to neutralize the lead but failed to get past the rival rearguard.
With time ticking out, Sandy scored the insurance goal as Fulsabhat trooped out worthy winners.
