PANJIM: The Goa Football Association (GFA) has announced the following 35 players who have been selected for the second phase of the selection trials-cum-camp from August 24 to 27 at the Astro Turf ground near Nehru stadium, Fatorda, to select the state GFA Women’s football team for 36th National Games to be held in Ahmedabad from September 29 to October 9 as per the revised schedule of the AIFF.
They are Ancella Barretto, Dishna Kumar, Alisha Tavares, Vinoshka Fernandes, Meloshka Carvalho, Joyvi Fernandes, Leifa Carvalho, Royenna Fernandes, Roanna Dias, Rizella Cia Almeida, Aneila Barretto, Vailanka D’Souza, Rhea Pires,Jossel Mascarenhas, Joizima Fernandes, Flani Costa,Nevila Colaco, Karen Estrocio, Karishma Shivoikar, Namita Gadekar, Kulsum Shaikh, Ashika Gadekar, Saniya Pednekar, Rima Gadekar, Mikayla Pinto,Sushmita Jadhav, Michel Castanha, Arpita Pednekar, Jeromino Colaco, Jenny Silva, Sonali Korgaonkar, Simran Narvenkar, Jenecia Fernandes, Alviya Fernandes, Jacina Colaco.
The players have been requested to report to coach Maria Rebello or coach Mabel Mascarenhas at Fatorda on August 24 at 3.pm. They should carry their original birth certificates, two passport size photos and original nationality proof except cadhaar card failing which they shall not be registered under CRS and not eligible to play.
