Leon finished joint first and was placed fourth on Buckholz and drew with the eventual champion GM Yuri Solodovnichenko from Ukraine.
Leon gained 7 Elo rating points at this event which allowed him to cross 2600 in the live ratings. His live rating is now 2603 and he is ranked 15th on the World Junior’s list.
