Goa bag bronze in football
Panjim, Feb 25 : The Goa football team deputed by SAG claimed a bronze medal at the 34th National Games beating Services 3-1 in Ranchi. Kevin Lobo, Joel Sequeira and Joy Ferrao netted a goal each. Earlier, Goa were beaten by Bengal 0-1 in the semis.
Dr Susana de Sousa, director of sports and youth affairs, who witnessed the match hailed the boys for their spirited display.
