Goa boys entered the pre-quarterfinals while the girls moved into the quarter-finals of 15th Sub-Junior National Tennis Ball Cricket Championships organised by Goa Tennis Ball Cricket Association in collaboration with Sports Authority of Goa at Nehru stadium, Margao on Friday.
Goa boys defeated Punjab in the last league match. Electing to bat, Punjab scored 49 in 8 overs. In reply, Goa scored the required runs in 7.2 overs with Atish scoring 20.
Earlier, Goa defeated Andhra Pradesh. Goa scored 106 in the allotted 8 overs with Atish scoring 37, Shubham 23. In reply Andhra scored 44 all out. 
In the girls section, Goa defeated Jharkhand. Electing to bat Jharkhand scored 45 for 3 wickets in 8 overs. Goa scored the required runs in 4.1 overs with Melissa scoring 18 not out.
In another match, Goa defeated Jammu and Kashmir. J&K scored 39 in 8 overs, with Dhanshree 2 wickets, Dixita and Santoshi claiming 1 wicket each for Goa. In reply Goa scored the required runs in 4.1 overs with Dhanshree scoring 31.
