PANJIM: Goa’s Civil Service volleyball team went down fighting against RSB Chennai 19-25 and 18-25 in the quarter-finals of all-India Civil Service Volleyball tournament at Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune.
Goa qualified for the knockout stages for the first time after topping the group. They defeated Delhi 29-27, 25-18.
Goa also got the better of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
