PANJIM (HSD) – The Kingfisher Pro League match between Sporting Clube de Goa and Dempo on October 2 at Duler Stadium, Mapusa has been postponed.
Socorro tie-breaker at Goa Velha
PANJIM (HSD) – The Dando Boys will organise a 2-a-side Socorro memorial football tie-breaker on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on October 2 at PAP ground, Dando, Goa Velha at 10.30 a.m. The winners and runners-up will be awarded Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000 respectively. Spot entries will be accepted.
3-a-side tie-breaker at Socorro
PANJIM (HSD) – The Society of St Vincent de Paul, Vaddem-Socorro, will organise their all-Goa three-a-side floodlit tie-breaker football at Socorro, Vaddem football ground from 7 p.m. Rs 5000 (winners) and Rs 3000 (runners-up) will be awarded. Details may be obtained on 9881474611.
5-a-side football at Panchwadi
PANJIM (HSD) – The Parish Youth of Panchwadi will organise their 5th all-Goa one-day 5-a-side football tournament at Panchwadi on October 2 at greenfield, Mattem Panchwadi from 10.30 a.m. The winners and runners-up will be awarded Rs. 8000 and Rs. 6,000 respectively. The semi-losers will take home Rs.1,000 each. Other individual prizes will also be awarded. Tennis ball tourney at Peddem
PANJIM (HSD) – The Mapusa Boys will organize their 2nd All-Goa tennis ball cricket tournament on October 3 and 10 at Peddem sports complex, Mapusa. The winners will receive Rs 20,000 and trophy, while the runners-up will be awarded Rs 10,000 and trophy. The semi-final losers will receive Rs 5000 each. PANJIM (HSD) – Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao will organise an exhibition women’s football match between Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao and Navelim XI on October 3 (feast of St Michael) at 4 p.m. and Married v. Bachelors at 4.30 p.m. It will be followed by an all-Goa 3-a-side tie-breaker tournament from 6 p.m. near Taleigao church. Rs 5000 (winners) and Rs 3000 (runners up) will be awarded.
Fr Gervasio football at Curchorem
CURCHOREM (HC) — Angel Boys of Curchorem will organise an All-Goa 11-a-side open football tournament in memory of Fr. Gervasio Pinto from October 9 at Figueiredo ground, Curchorem. The finals will be played on the occassion of Guardian Angel feast on November 14. Rs.30,000 (winners) and Rs.20,000 (runners-up) besides other individual prizes will be awarded.
