6-a-side football at Chorao
CHORAO: The 6-a-side all-Goa football tournament organized by Saude Chapel Youth will be held on July 28 and August 4 at Saude ground, Chorao.
The winners will get Rs 8,000 while the runners-up will receive Rs 5,000. Individual prizes will also be given.

PANJIM: A 15-day gymnastic camp organized by Kreeda Bharati Goa for beginners in collaboration with Gurukul Academy will be held from July 28 to August 11 at Gurukul Daycare School, Sainagar, Durgabhat, Ponda, from 3 to 4 p.m.

Squad for Nat Women Challengers
PANJIM: The following players will represent Goa in 40th National Women Challengers Chess Championship which will be held from July 26 to August 3 at Trissur, Kerala.
The players — WGM Bhakti Kulkarni, WIM Ivana Furtado, WCM Riya Savant, Gauri Hadkonkar, Gunjal Chopdekar, Adittee Prabhugoankar, Urvi Bandekar, Sakshi Naik Gaonkar. Bhakti has been seeded third while Ivana is seeded 13th. Riya will start as the 23rd seed in the tournament.
Inter-college futsal in Panjim
PANJIM: The 2nd All-Goa inter-college futsal tournament organized by Don Bosco Oratory will be held from August 12 to 15 at Benedict memorial indoor complex, here.
Only bonafide students of the college are eligible. The tournament will be held for both boys and girls with matches arranged between 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A maximum of 10 players per team are allowed to be registered for the tournament. Entries have been mailed to the various colleges and are also available at the oratory office. Entries may be submitted by August 10 to DBO office or at [email protected].
