Goa girls Nat throwball champs

The Goa girls’ throwball team emerged champion defeating Haryana 25-27, 25-19, 25-23 in the finals of 19th Sub-Junior National Throwball Championship at Forest Training School ground, Valpoi, on Sunday.
Haryana lifted the boys crown defeating Karnataka 25-21, 25-19 in the finals.
Health Minister, Vishwajeet Rane was the chief guest and gave away the prizes. Pratap Gawas, MLA, was the guest of honour. Also present were T Ramanna, general secretary Throwball Federation of India, Ashok Parob ex-MLA, VMC chairperson Gulzar Khan and Sanquelim Municipal chairperson Sunita Verekar. Hanif Shaikh proposed the vote of thanks. Fehmida Khan and Reshma Khan compered.
