Goa Maroons, DHL, NYC up

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 28 Goa Maroons entered the semi-final of 35th UGC soccer tourney defeating KGA 2-0 at Ministry of Health ground in Shuwaikh under the auspices of Kuwait India Football Federation (KIFF), Kuwait.

Goa Maroons entered the semi-final of 35th UGC soccer tourney  defeating KGA 2-0 at Ministry of Health ground in Shuwaikh under the auspices of Kuwait India Football Federation (KIFF), Kuwait.
DHL also made it to the last four beating CRC 2-1. Navelim Youth Center beat Indian Strikers 2-1.
Ian D’Souza made no mistake to put Maroons one up with a spot kick. Philip Dias scored the other goal.
Terrance D’Souza of DHL scored from a through pass by Jose. Seby Fernandes equalised.
Cruz Silva scored DHL’s second goal towards the end of second half.
After the change of ends the Indian Strikers struck the early blow when Noufol scored off a corner kick. 
To the relief of the NYC fans and supporters Christiano Pires headed in from a free kick to level the scores.
It was Alfred Pires who saw his side home with a header in the dying minutes of extra time.
In the semi-finals on Friday, Navelim Youth Center take on United Friends Club and Goa Maroons play DHL.
