SANGUEM: Goa Police and Curchorem Gymkhana booked their places in the quarters of the 17th Sanguem T-20 All Goa Cricket tournament organised by Sanguem Cricketers, at Sanguem Cricket Academy ground, on Monday.
In the first match – Curchorem Gymkhana defeated Bhise Brothers by 96 runs while in the second match – Goa Police beat Master Blasters by 8 wickets.
Score in brief: Curchorem Gymkhana, 194 for 6 in 20 overs (Dattesh Priolkar 30, Rohit Naik 61*, Jaipal Mada 30, Saif Ali 15, Srinivas Fadte 10 runs. Shoumik Angle 3-24, Ashish Desai 1-15, Pravin Gawas 1-10) beat Bhise Brothers, 97 all out in 13 overs (Pravin Gawas 48 runs. Siddhesh Verenkar 4-15, Rohit Naik 2-15, Srinivas Fadte 1-10). Master Blasters, 68 all out in 12.5 overs (Arif Mulla 12 runs. Dhondu Tulaskar 5-15, Rupesh Ajgaonkar 1-13, Apali Kalangutkar 4-18) lost to Goa Police, 65 for 2 in 7.4 overs (Samarth Gawas 26*, Rupesh Ajgaonkar 19* runs. Vipal Naik 2-24). Man of the match: Dhondu Tulaskar (Goa Police).
