PANJIM: Top juniors Yash Fadte and Akanksha Salunkhe will lead a host of players from Goa at the 72nd CCI-Western India Open Squash tournament from November 21 to 26, at the Cricket Club of India, Mumbai.
India number three, Fadte from Vasco will feature in the boys’ U-15 along with India number two, Veer Chotrani.
India U-17 National champion, Salunkhe will feature in the girl’s U-19 and Women’s categories. The other players from Goa include Ishita Sharma (U-13), Prashasti Mattas (U-15), Sparshi Mattas (U-17) and Akanksha’s sibling Yash Salunkhe (U-13).
