PANJIM: The Goa Tennis Ball Cricket Association has selected team to represent Goa in the 1st All India Tennis Ball Cricket League 2023 to be held at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, from September 1 to 6.
The team and officials include Shubham Pathan, Pranay Gaonkar, Shubham Gaude, Sanket Morajkar, Vishwajit Fadte Gaonkar, Mohsin Shaikh, Gauresh Nagvekar, Akshay Jogle, Rahul Pagi, Satyawan Velip, Pritesh Gaonkar, Nitesh Velip, Mahindra Velip, Mangesh Gaonkar, Suraj Velip, Chandan Dongrekar (Asst coach/manager), Hemant Khot (chief coach) and Shyamsunder Aier (mentor).
The league winner will get cash prize of Rs 3 lakh, runners-up Rs 2 lakh, third place team will receive Rs 1 lakh. Besides, many individual prizes and team prizes.
Altogether 16 teams will play high league, league and knockout matches to declare the winners as per the organisers.
This is first national tennis ball cricket league organise by the Tennis Ball Cricket Federation of India.
