PANJIM: The Goan clubs asserted their superiority over the outstation clubs as NRB GSA and Salgaocar Cricket Club registered comprehensive wins against R N Sports, Mumbai and Colombo Warriors in 4th Yes Bank GPL T-20 cricket tournament at GCA ground, Porvorim, Wednesday.
In the first match, NRB thumped RN Sports by six wickets. Batting first, RN Sports could muster only a meager 121/10. Aman Litt with figures of 4-0-34-4 was the wrecker-in-chief and was ably supported by Gaurish Gawas and Sayyed Baddiuzzamma who picked up two wickets each.
In reply, NRB chased down the target with relative ease. Sufiyan Alam not out 45 was the top-scorer.

In another match, Salgaocar hammered Colombo Warriors by a massive 113-run margin.
Salgaocar batted first and posted a mammoth 194/6 thanks to a superlative 76 by Keenan Vaz who was well by supported Ravikant Shukla (41) and Ashish Yadav (32).
In reply, the men from Colombo failed to live up to the expectations and folded up for just 81.
