MORJIM: Goan Warriors Football Club trounced Dune Sports Club 4-2 margin in GFA Second Division U-20 Taca Goa League, at Morjim ground, on Saturday.
Goan Warriors opened their account in the 25th minute through Aniket Agarwadekar while Siddhant Shirodkar extended the lead before going into the breather by scoring from close to make it 2-0.
Crossing over, Dunes SC re-grouped and pulled a goal through Siddha Mandrekar in the 71st from outside the penalty box making it 2-1.
As the match progressed Goan Warriors scored two more goals in the 79th minute through Sadanand Dhabolkar and in the 84th minute through Diptesh Naik.
Dunes netted their second goal through Prakshay Simepurushkar who scored from the penalty spot in the 86th minute to make it 4-2.
However, Goan Warriors emerged as the winner of the match and Champions of Goa U20 Taca League Division II.
