PONDA: Goan Warriors, Tivim thumped Ponda Footballers 5-0 to enter the semi-finals of 31st St. Anne’s Festival Inter-Village Soccer 2019 organized by Ponda Footballers powered by Dr. Ketan Bhatikar’s SPARC and SAG, at Animal Husdandry ground, Curti-Ponda, on Saturday.
At half time the score was goalless draw and Ponda held an upper hand while in the second half Tivim team came strong and scored through Chetan Shrirodkar, Kunal Salgaoncar, Rahul Naik, Shane Temudo and Saahit Bugde.
Chetan Shirodkar bagged the SPARC man-of-the-match award for his brilliant play. Councillor Seema Fernandes gave away the prize.
