PANJIM: Goa’s Ethan Vaz continued his winning streak as he won one more point in the 8th round, taking his tally to 6 points, by checkmating Kerala’s Sathyachith E M after a tough fight that lasted 3 and a half hours, at the 32nd National Under-7 Chess Championship 2018, in Tumkur, Karnataka, on Saturday.
At the end of 8 rounds, Ethan Vaz leads the Goa team in the open category and Jenica Sequeira leads in the girls category, with 6 points each.
