MARGAO: Guardian Angel SC trounced Panchawadi United Sports Club 3-0 in the inaugural match of the late Fr Gervasio Football tournament, at Figuerido ground, Curchorem, on Friday.
In the first half, Guardian Angel SC were leading 2-0.
In the first half, Guardian Angel SC scored through Micky Vaz in the 15th and 20th minutes through powerful grounders. Joseph Costa came up with the assists on both the occasions.
Crossing over, Guardian Angel made it 3-0 through Joseph Costa’s grounder in the 46th minute.
Panchwadi SC tried to make a come back but Franky Godinho’s effort was blocked by the rival custodian.
