Guirdolim upset Varca

Guirdolim Sports Club shocked Varca Sports Club 5-4 via the tie-breaker to enter the quarter-finals of Cayman Cup inter-village football tournament organized by Curtorim Gymkhana at Curtorim ground, on Saturday. The teams were tied 1-1 draw at full time. Elvis Fernandes put Varca into the lead in the first half while Cliffton D’Costa equalised for Guirdolim in the second session.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Guirdolim kept their cool to romp home victorious.
