Gurjinder in, Francis out as Salgaocar FC rebuild

PANJIM: India international Francis Fernandes parted ways with Salgaocar Football Club with still a year on his contract.

The club management and Fernandes didn’t agree on the financial terms for the upcoming season which eventually led to the two parties amicably parting ways. Francis, is currently in Bangalore, attending the India camp in preparation for the Asian Games.
Replacing the talismanic Francis is Pune FC’s Gurjinder Kunmar.
Meanwhile, Francis is likely to accept an offer to join the IMG-Reliance bandwagon to feature in the inaugural edition of the Indian Super League (ISL).
