PANJIM: Holy Rosary Convent High School, Nuvem will battle it out against Little Flower High School, Calangute in the all-Goa girls U-14 football festival final, organsied by GFA in collaboration with the DYSA at Poriat ground, Calangute, on Saturday at 3.30 p.m.

In total, 14 teams took part, comprising of six in the north and eight from the south.

Earlier, Fatima Convent, Margao beat Kings Sao Jose De Areal 4-0, St Mary’s, Ponda beat Perpetual Succor Convent, Navelim 3-1, Holy Convent Nuvem beat Infant Jesus, Colva 4-0, Blessed Joseph Vaz, Sancoale beat St Anthony’s Majorda 5-4 via the tie breaker after the teams were level 1-1 at full time.

In the semi-finals St Mary’s, Ponda beat Fatima Convent, Margao 2-1, and Holy Convent, Nuvem beat Blessed Joseph Vaz, Sancoale 3-0.

 In the final Holy Convent, Nuvem beat St Mary’s, Ponda 1-0.
