Jerry with a timing of 3 minutes 50 seconds secured the first place in the 250m sprint while Xavier D’Souza (4 minutes) and Nitya (4 minute 1 second) secured the second and third positions respectively.
In the 1km swimathon, Xavier (14 minutes 29 seconds) finished ahead second placed Jerry (14 minutes 42 seconds) and third placed Vaishnavi Halankar (17 minutes 27 seconds).
The other results are as follows. 2km swimathon: 1st Nitya Halankar (32 minutes 17 seconds), 2nd Caroline Naseman (32 minutes 32 seconds) and 3rd place Sampreet Khanolkar (32 minutes 48 seconds).
5km swimathon: 1st Anurag Singh (1 hour 31 minutes), 2nd Joao Estrocio (1 hour 33 minutes) and 3rd Varun Jadhav (1 hour 35 minutes). 1st female finisher was Sachi Gramopadhye (1 hour 35 minutes).
Cash prizes totalling to Rs 80,000 were handed over by chief guest Commander Dilip Dhonde of the Indian Navy, the first Indian to circumnavigate the globe solo and Dr Nandita D’Souza of SETHU.
