PANJIM: Hosts United Club of Utorda were knocked out of V Deluxe Lourdes Festival Cup by SS Loutolim scoring a 7-6 victory via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals, at SAG ground, Utorda.
The teams were tied goalless at the end of regulation time.
In a match dominated in patches by the hosts, the score line would have been very different had the Utorda forwards converted the several chances that came their way, particularly in the first half.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Allwyn Fernandes, Roy Cardozo, Romaldo Dias, Hillary Fernandes, Zito Rodrigues, Charlie Dias and Kenneth Vaz scored for Loutolim while Navin Mendes, Bovantura Pacheco, Remdios Baretto, Sadiq Ahmed, Stephen Fernandes and Llyod Fernandes were successful for Utorda.
