DAVORLIM: OL of Rosary HS, Fatorda, Loyola HS of Margao, Regina Martyrum HS of Assolna, St Anthony’s HS of Majorda and Fr Agnel Multipurpose HS of Verna moved ahead in the U-14 Subroto Mukherjee inter school Salcete Taluka football tournament organised DSYA, at Dramapur ground.
In the first match, OL Rosary HS edged past OL of Snow’s HS of Raia 3-2. Aniket Padgatti, Salford Madeira & Ayaz Kadar scored for Rosary School while Shannon D’Costa and Kiran Patil for the Raia school.
Loyola HS thrashed Govt. HS of Davorlim 6-0. Kingsley Monteiro and Lester Oliveira scored a brace while Saksham Shanke & Irwin Faleiro scored a goal each.
Regina Martyrum HS of Assolna trounced AIM English HS of Davorlim 4-0.
Joshua Pinto, Mathew Noronha, Ethan Luis and Shawn Fernandes scored a goal each.
St Anthony’s HS of Majorda scored a 4-2 tie-breaker win over Infant Jesus HS of Colva after both the teams were tied at 1-1 at the full session.
In the last match of the day, Fr Agnel Multipurpose HS of Verna steamrolled St Rita’s HS of Maina 9-0.
Jayden Pinto and Shannoy Quadros scored a brace each while Alan Miranda, Salmon Gama, Walton Fernandes, Elton Fernandes and Ansal Baretto scored a goal each.
