MARGAO: Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim and Mae dos Pobres High School, Nuvem romped into the quarter-finals of Salcete taluka under-17 girls Subroto Mukerjee inter-school football tournament organized by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Manora ground, Raia, on Tuesday.

Perpetual Succour defeated Rosary HS 2-0 with goals coming from Sybil Andrade and Mercia Fernandes.
In another match, Mae dos Pobres defeated Infant Jesus High School, Colva 4-3 via tie-breaker after the teams couldn’t break the deadlock in normal time.
