PANJIM: Goa’s Mahesh Desai, Asst. Commissioner of Customs & Goods and Service Tax has been appointed as a Match Observer for the India and New Zealand first T20 match at Feroz Shah Kotla ground, New Delhi to be played November 1.
Mahesh Desai was an Ex-Ranji Cricketer and in his short span of illustrious cricket had the distinction of taking prized wickets of GR Vishwanath and K Srikanth and many other cricketers.
He was an all rounder and captain of Panjim Gymkhana side and state level cricket.
