The first real attempt of the match materialized in the 20th minute and it resulted in the opening goal for the Curtorim team.
Wing back Neville Fernandes sent in a swinging cross inside the box where medio Welson Fernandes buried a powerful header past the helpless Fatorda goalkeeper Malcolm Pereira.
Nine minutes later, Maina netted the second when central midfielder Jimson Noronha picked out fellow medio Adwin Sequeira in the box and the later coolly slotted home past rival goalkeeper Malcolm.
Down by two goals, DBO did manage to create pressure on the rivals in the second session, but Curtorim defenders Savio Fernandes, Myson fernandes, and Manuel Castana did well to protect their goal.
Maina which were rather casual sitting on the two-goal advantage could have been punished for their carelessness but substitute Fatorda striker Necil Pinto wasted two best chances by shooting wide of the mark.
