PANJIM: Margao Sports Club carved out a solitary goal victory over Raitura Association to enter into the quarter-final of Fr Agnelo Youth all-Goa inter-village football tournament organized by Fr Agnelo Youth Sports Club, Paroda, at Panchayat ground, Avedem-Paroda, on Friday.
After a barren first session, Margao scored through Stephen Barbosa who sent the ball home from a pass by teammate Rocky Barbosa.
Margao also came up with several scoring chances with Sharon Fernandes and Rocky Barbosa blowing away two golden opportunities.
