VILLA-MAREX-CHANDOR: Mark Caterers got the better of Costa Cruises Veterans 5-3 to move into the quarter-finals of the Villa Marex Veterans soccer, at Villa Marex ground, Chandor, on Wednesday.
Franky opened the score-line for Costa Cruises in the sixth minute but the joy was short-lived as Marcus equalised for Mark Caterers in the 10th minute.
Assis netted a brace for Mark Caterers while Vishant and Marcus netted a goal each for Mark Caterers to make it 5-1 in the 12th, 14th, 23rd and 34th minutes respectively.
Thereafter, Franky scored a brace for Costa in the 42nd and 45th minutes.
