PANJIM: Margao Cricket Club (MCC) Cricket Academy outwitted Saraswat RCC Mapusa by 8 wickets to emerge winners of the U-19 Saurabh Sardesai inter RCC cricket tournament organised by Vasco Warriors Cricket Academy, at SAG ground, Chicalim, on Tuesday.
MCC CA won the toss and put Saraswat RCC to bat.
Saraswat RCC could manage to score only 121 runs for 9. Mohit Redkar and Aryan Mishra took 3 wickets each.
In reply, MCC CA achieved the target easily in the 19th over with 8 wickets in hand. Man-of-the-match Mohit Redkar and Manthan Khutkar remained unbeaten on 40 and 28 runs respectively.
Secretary of Goa Cricket Association Daya Pagi was the chief guest and handed over the prizes in the presence of Jamir Carol, Daji Salkar, Umesh Dicholkar, Uday Bhakle and others.
