PANJIM: Merces SC moved into the quarter-finals of Mardol Trophy football tournament defeating Maina Sports Club, Curtorim 3-1 in the match played, at Mardol ground, on Saturday.
Levino Fereirra scored the first goal for Merces SC while Vinay Fatarpekar doubled the lead. Maina SC reduced the margin through Peter Fereirra. Jayendra Kuncolikar netted the third goal for the winners.
