Milagres Sports Club, Mapusa registered a solitary goal win over Nerul Sports Club to enter the semi-finals of Sai Avatar Super Soccer organized by Sai Avatar Sports Club Anjuna at Anjuna Gymkhana ground, Tembi on Saturday.
The all-important goal came from a fine header by Avito Fernandes in the first session.
On crossing over, Nerul tried their best to level terms, but the strikers could not penetrate the solid defense maintained by the Mapusa side.
