BENAULIM: Mix Friends Boys, Benaulim pipped Pedda Boys, Benaulim 1-0 to win the UK/US Boys U-14 trophy soccer tournament, organised by Mix Friends Benaulim, at Xembu Moll ground, Benaulim.
Calvin Fernandes scored the match-winner in the 18th minute with a fine placement. Tony Dias was the chief guest and gave away the trophies.
Following were the individual awards: Best midfielder: Tohid Mullah (Pedda Boys), Best striker: Sheldon (Mix Friends), Best goalkeeper: Agatsya Motwani (Pedda Boys), Best defender: Jonas (MIX Friends).
