MONTE-HILL-BENAULIM: Mixed Friends, Pedda beat Cana Dynamites by a solitary goal to enter the semi-finals of the Inter-Benaulim constituency 9-a side football tournament organised by Pedda Benaulim, at St John the Baptist Church ground, Monte Hill, Benaulim, on Tuesday.
Jaison of Mixed Friends missed two chances to score in the sixth and tenth minute.
Later in the 12th minute Mixed Friends’ Kenneth’s long ranger failed to pop up into the Cana net.
Later, in the 26th minute, Cana’s Rohit’s grounder hit the Mixed Friends’ post.
The winning goal was scored by Josbern Cardozo in the 55th minute.
