CHINCHINIM: Models Panjim scored a narrow 1-0 victory over Albert Developers, Merces to clinch the CRC Women Football Cup, at CRC Chinchinim ground, on Wednesday.
Albert Developers had the first chance of the match through Vailanka D’Souza but her move was foiled by Models defender Linda Colaco in the 2nd minute.
Models netted the lone goal of the match in the 10th minute through Khushboo Sauthantikar with a placement shot off Cynthia Lobo’s connect.
The winners were awarded Rs 30,000 while the runners-up received Rs 20,000 plus trophies.
